THE LARGEST INDUSTRY EVENT - THE 29TH INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - KIOGE 2024 WILL BE HELD FROM SEPTEMBER 25 TO 27, 2024 IN ALMATY.
The pace of development of the oil and gas industry is confirmed by the fact that oil and gas production in the country has been steadily growing in recent years. Thus, according to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan plans to produce 95.4 million tons of oil and 60billion m3 of gas in 2024. Previously, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed the opinion that Kazakhstan should become one of the leaders in the sale of finished oil products. According to him, this is one of the key tasks of the Government for the coming years. At the same time, the President pointed out the need to introduce innovations, improve the environmental friendliness of the production process and further processing of raw materials. It is KIOGE 2024, being one of the most important oil and gas events in the Central Asian region that serves as a platform for highlighting and discussing current topics in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan, demonstrating «smart» technologies and introducing digitalization into oil production processes. Traditionally, the KIOGE site will be represented by an exhibition and conference.
ONE OF THE MOST IMPRESSIVE AND VIBRANT BUSINESS EVENTS IN THE TOURISM SECTOR - THE 22ND KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND TRAVEL EXHIBITION - KITF 2024 - ENDED IN ALMATY. FROM APRIL 24 TO 26, 406 COMPANIES FROM 28 COUNTRIES PRESENTED THEIR SERVICES AND UNIQUE TRAVEL DESTINATIONS.
KITF grows every year as a large-scale event that brings together participants and visitors from around the world, creating a platform for a wide exchange of experiences, ideas and innovations in the tourism industry. Among the exhibitors in 2024, 89% of foreign companies were present, which confirms the significance of the expo event on the international site. Companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Georgia, Greece, Egypt, Italy, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Malaysia, Maldives, UAE, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, South Korea, and Japan presented a wide range of products to visitors and partners. 16 countries, such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Uzbekistan, Russia, Romania, Croatia, South Korea, Japan were represented by national groups and regional stands.
The overall increase in the number of companies participating in the exhibition was 56% compared to last year. This fact testifies to the growing significancy and attractiveness of the exhibition as a platform for promoting business, exchanging experiences and establishing new partnership relations. New destinations were presented to the tourist community of Kazakhstan: Kamchatka Territory, Altai Republic (RF), Romania, Phu Quoc (Vietnam). The wide representation of debuting companies emphasized the effectiveness of the exhibition for opening new horizons for business growth and the high interest in their products.

Over the 22 years of its existence, the KITF exhibition has confidently taken the main place among the largest tourism exhibitions in the Central Asian region, becoming the flagship for the development of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan. The exposition occupied two exhibition pavilions. New destinations and tourism products at KITF 2024 are represented by 406 exhibitors from 28 countries, sixteen of which are represented by large national stands reflecting the flavor of each country: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Uzbekistan, Russia, Romania, Croatia, South Korea, Japan.
THE 12TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - KIOSH 2024 WILL BE HELD FROM MAY 29 TO 31, 2024 ON THE TERRITORY OF EXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTER, ASTANA.
In December 2023, Kazakhstan adopted the Concept of Safe Work until 2030, developed in pursuance of the instructions of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Head of State, outlined in the Address to the people of the country: Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan. The work of the Concept is aimed at reducing the level of occupational risk, occupational injuries and occupational morbidity. S. Zhakupova, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted in one of her speeches: “Despite the positive changes in reducing occupational injuries over the past six years by 12.6%, more than 1.5 thousand occupational injuries occur annually at the enterprises of the Republic, about 200 of these were fatal. This year, 1,195 people were injured at the country’s enterprises. To ensure healthy and safe working conditions, in addition to changes in the regulatory framework, it is necessary to introduce digitalization and innovation in the field of industrial safety”. The KIOSH 2024 project, traditionally presented by an exhibition and conference, is precisely such a platform for the exchange of experience and presentation of the latest solutions in the field of occupational health and safety.
