Within the framework of the exhibition KIOGE 2018 will host a special event co-hosted by the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan (KazService) and “Iteca” LLP.
Participants of the KIOGE exhibition will have a unique opportunity to meet in a B2B format with representatives of procurement departments and the departments for working with the subcontracting companies of the general contractors already involved the Future Growth Project of the Tengiz field and Karachaganak expansion project.
The future expansion of the Tengiz field project by Tengizchevroil (FGP, TCO) is one of the largest investment projects in Kazakhstan over the past 10 years. The budget of the project is more than 37 billion dollars. At the end of May 2018, 4 main contracts were signed: Area 51, Pipelines, 3GI and 3GP. The main contractors were GATE (GAMA-Tekfen), Bonatti, Velesstroy, Senimdi Kurylys (Bechtel-ENKA) and Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC).
The Karachaganak expansion project by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (PRK-1, KPO), is being implemented on the territory of an already existing facility and includes several work fronts (dehydration facilities, gas injection compressors, modifications on existing equipment, installation of collection systems and well sites). Among major contractors involved there are such companies as: SICIM, AksayGasService, KIOS.
The implementation of PRC 1 will be carried out in stages, the gap between two phases will be defined within the implementation strategy. The PRK - 1 contract strategy is under development. The approximate budget of the project is 10 billion dollars.
