Atyrau will traditionally become a place of meeting for professionals in the oil and gas and construction industries in April 2022. The largest industry expo events will be held at the Abay Center from April 6 to April 8: the 19th North Caspian regional exhibitions - Atyrau Oil and Gas 2022 and Atyrau Build 2022.
Over the past few years, the construction and oil and gas industries have shown annual growth and rampant development not only in Western Kazakhstan, but also in the entire Central Asian region, which indicates the importance of holding specialized exhibitions and a significant contribution to the development of the country’s economy. Thus, according to the Comprehensive Plan for Socio-Economic Development for 2021-2025, it is planned to attract 13 trillion KZT of private investment to the western regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and create 175 thousand new jobs. The implementation of the comprehensive plans will make it possible to increase the rate of growth of the economy of the western regions, give impulse to the inflow of private investment and ensure the stable growth of the oil and gas and construction industries in the near future. The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan also sets ambitious plans to increase oil production from 85.7 million tons in 2021 to 87.5 million tons in 2022. The volume of gas production in the current year is expected to reach 54 billion m3, the production of commercial gas will amount to 29.4 billion m3, the volume of gas export - 7.7 billion m3, and the production of liquetied gas - 3.1 million tons. The implementation of projects at the Karachaganak, Kashagan and Tengiz facilities, as well as the timely commissioning of new promising fields, will increase the production of raw gas by 2030 to 87.1 billion m3. Of course, companies in the oil and gas sector, representatives of the state apparatus and industry associations have a number of relevant topics for offline meetings and support for effective networking.
