The procedure for crossing the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan from May 11, 2020, for the period of quarantine restrictions has changed.According to the published document only the citizens of the countries with which Kazakhstan resumed direct air communication can enter the territory of Kazakhstan during the period of the quarantine restrictions, in addition to those who have permission granted by the Inter-Governmental Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in the latter case, the foreign citizen must provide an excerpt of the protocol of the Inter-Governmental Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which s/he can request from the inviting organization).
