INTERFOOD ASTANA 2025: ANNIVERSARY MEETING OF FOOD INDUSTRY LEADERS IN ASTANA
THE MAIN EVENT OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY IN THE CAPITAL OF KAZAKHSTAN IS LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY: FROM MAY 28 TO 30, 2025, THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL INTERFOOD ASTANA EXHIBITION WILL BE HELD AT THE EXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTER IN ASTANA.
InterFood Astana is a key event in the food industry that annually gathers professionals, manufacturers, retailers and suppliers from dozens of countries. For a quarter of a century, the exhibition has become the most important business platform in Central Asia for presenting innovations, expanding sales markets and establishing new partnerships.
InterFood Astana 2025 will once again confirm the status of the only professional industry exhibition on the topic “Food industry” in the capital of Kazakhstan. This year, more than 80 companies from Kazakhstan, CIS countries, Europe and Asia will take part. The exhibition will cover all segments of the food market: from raw materials and ingredients to packaging and industrial equipment. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the latest developments from companies from Belarus, Germany, China, Russia, South Korea, as well as discover unique products from more than 20 manufacturers of the Kyrgyz Republic, who will participate in the national exposition for the first time.
The organizers paid special attention to the business program of the exhibition, which this year will become one of the most intense and practice-oriented in the history of InterFood Astana. It will bring together representatives of business, industry experts, government agencies and retail to discuss key challenges and opportunities for the development of the food and processing industry.
On May 28, the program will begin with the plenary session “Intensive development of the food and processing industry of Kazakhstan”, where the topics of sustainable development, investments, the role of the state and financing instruments will be discussed. The participants will discuss how to combine the course on import substitution with global quality standards, and how to build effective synergy between national and international brands. You will hear about government support measures, new concessional lending opportunities, export strategies, and cooperation with international markets.
The practical focus of the event will be emphasized by thematic workshops, master classes and expert sessions. The business program will be attended by invited speakers — recognized experts in the field of retail, assortment management, sales and digital technologies. Among them are Igor Chumarin, an international consultant on loss prevention in retail, Anna Bakurskaya and Yelena Rivkina from Red Business Consulting, who have more than 25 years of experience in building effective sales strategies and staff training, as well as specialists in the field of digitalization of food enterprises and marketing using artificial intelligence. Their presentations will provide practical value for the participants and help them look at business processes in the food sector from a new angle.
During EXPERT TALKS, Igor Chumarin will share tools for minimizing losses from the factory to the shelf, and tell you how to minimize losses at each stage of the product movement.
From May 28 to May 30, recognized industry experts Anna Bakurskaya and Yelena Rivkina will present their author’s methods and practical business cases.:
- Expert session “Selling presentation for a category manager”;
- Business Lecture “Scaling sales: a strategy for working with distributors”;
- Workshop “AI as a tool to increase ROI in food marketing”;
- Master class “How can a small brand bypass the giants and build a loyal audience?”.
Each presentation focuses on the real-world challenges faced by manufacturers, distributors, and retail chains. Participants will receive not only theoretical knowledge, but also working tools that can be applied immediately after the exhibition. The topics will cover the entire cycle of interaction: from building effective presentations for category managers to scaling sales and increasing marketing returns using modern technologies.
The presentation “Development of a digital twin of a food industry enterprise using AI and IIoT” will be of particular interest to the professional audience. The speakers will explain how artificial intelligence and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies can be used to create a virtual copy of the production process, monitor key parameters in real time, predict failures and optimize resources. This topic is especially relevant for enterprises seeking digital transformation and efficiency gains in an increasingly competitive and unstable market.
The business program will become a powerful catalyst for new partnerships and relevant solutions in the field of food and retail. InterFood Astana 2025 is not just an exhibition, but a space for ideas, opportunities and development.
The exhibition is organized by the Kazakh exhibition company ITECA and its international partner ICA Events Group of Companies.
