FROM DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION TO CYBERSECURITY: BUSINESS FOCUS AT SECUREX KAZAKHSTAN 2024 EXHIBITION
THE DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH OF SECURITY SYSTEMS AND VIDEO SURVEILLANCE ARE PART OF A GLOBAL TREND TO STRENGTHEN SECURITY MEASURES IN RESPONSE TO THE CHALLENGES OF OUR TIME. KAZAKHSTAN, LIKE MANY OTHER COUNTRIES, HAS SEEN AN INCREASE IN INVESTMENT IN THE SECURITY SECTOR, INCLUDING VIDEO SURVEILLANCE, ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS, AND INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEMS USING AI.
Cutting-edge new products and the most advanced video surveillance systems, security systems, fire protection equipment, software solutions in field of cybersecurity will be presented by 55 exhibitors from 8 countries at the site of the 12th Kazakhstan International Protection, Security, Rescue and Fire Safety Exhibition (Security, Fire Protection and Information technologies) - Securex Kazakhstan 2024, which will be held from March 13 to 15, 2024 on the territory of the Atakent Exhibition Complex.
As part of the Exhibition, a specialized ITS “Information Technologies and Security” section was organized.
Participants from Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, the USA, Ukraine, and South Korea will present their stands. Companies from the Omsk and Ural regions of the Russian Federation will present collective stands.
Among the debutants of the expo event were the following companies: Trombone, Etalon Group, Segment Energo Kazakhstan, Karelpozhliniya, Kordon, Drakar, Keeper.kz, Intellicom, Altprom Invest, PARSEC, Bekem Trade, Altprom Invest, Clever Parking, Rusiem, Fudo Security. EvrazEx, the domestic manufacturer, with the Barracuda trademark will present bastions, water tanks and other equipment as part of the street exposition.
In addition to the exhibition exposition, with the aim of open dialogue and familiarization with the most innovative developments of domestic and international market flagships, a Plenary session will be held on March 13, dedicated to the interaction between the state and business to ensure the safety of cities in Kazakhstan. The speakers will be Ramil Kamalov, the Chairman of the Committee of Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Atygayev, the Head of the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty city, also among the participants are representatives of Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna JSC, the City Center of Monitoring and Rapid Response of the Akimat of Astana city, Egida Group and Hikvision Kazakhstan.
Also, as part of the business program, much attention will be paid to issues of information technologies and cybersecurity. During the session entitled SECUREX TALKS, moderated by Evgeniy Pitolin, the Independent Expert on Information Security, IT and Communications, speakers will discuss successful cases for solving business problems in this area.
Issues of digital transformation and the use of IT solutions to automate processes will be the subject of discussion at the case session: Digitalization of security systems - industrial cases. As security systems become more digital and technologically advanced, the importance of cybersecurity increases. Protection of various data and objects from cyber-attacks is becoming critical. During the sessions, expert practitioners will share their knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of advanced information security technologies.
Recalling the practice of the previous year, we can confidently note that the program part of the Securex Kazakhstan exhibition will arouse strong interest and active participation from industry specialists. Exhibitors will hold seminars on system security issues and their application in business; specialists from C-Nord, Rubezh, Logitex, Egida Group, Energon, DKC JSC, Hikvision and others will talk about technological new products.
