KIHE 2024: THE KEY EVENT IN THE FIELD OF HEALTHCARE WILL BRING TOGETHER INDUSTRY EXPERTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
FROM MAY 15 TO 17, 2024, THE 29TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION - KIHE 2024 WILL BE HELD IN ALMATY ON THE TERRITORY OF THE ATAKENT EXHIBITION CENTER.
The main objective of the KIHE project is to familiarize professionals with the most modern equipment and technologies in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals, provide high-quality and modern medical equipment to healthcare organizations and increase the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of citizens of Kazakhstan.
For 29 years, the KIHE exhibition has brought together representatives of industry ministries and associations, top managers of international and domestic companies, heads of state and private medical institutions, expert practitioners, scientists and doctors of various specialties.
As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, noted at an expanded meeting of the Government: “In 2024, 2.6 trillion KZT will be allocated to healthcare”. The allocation of significant funds to health care demonstrates the high priority of health for the government, emphasizing the desire for accessibility to quality services and modern equipment. These measures can help improve the quality of life and life expectancy of the population, supporting a healthy society.
Exposition 2024
The KIHE exposition is showing steady growth and will occupy three exhibition pavilions this year. The number of exhibition participants is increasing daily - in March alone, more than 30 new companies from Hong Kong, India, Kazakhstan, China, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Turkey, France and South Korea joined KIHE 2024. More than 100 new companies will present their stands as debutants. National groups will be represented by Germany, Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic. Collective exhibitions will be organized by the Moscow Export Center ANO, the Altai Fund for Development of Small and Medium Businesses, Kuzbass (Kemerovo region) and Belfarmprom from Belarus. This year’s exhibition is also distinguished by the quantitative growth of foreign participants: China alone will present 63 companies, there also will be 12 companies from Germany, 5 companies from India. It is expected that this year’s participants will be more than 300 companies from 20 countries.
A wide selection of products, including new medical, laboratory, diagnostic, rehabilitation equipment and technology, medicinal preparations, consumables, medical products, surgical instruments, medical services at KIHE 2024 provides an opportunity for specialists to become familiar with various innovations and technologies in the industry. Unique technologies from different parts of the world will be presented on a single platform in Kazakhstan.
Business program
For the content part of the KIHE exhibition, three conference halls will be used - in parallel, forums, conferences, round tables and training seminars will be organized over three days.
The main event of this year will be the I International Medical Forum “Medinnovations Forum”, organized for the first time in collaboration with Kazakhstani professional associations. Medinnovations Forum will present innovations in equipment and diagnostics, treatment protocols, pharmaceutical preparations and research methods for various diseases.
Co-organizers of the Medinnovations Forum are the Kazakhstani Society of Neuromodulation, the Association of Cardiologists of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Association of Neurosurgeons, National Center for Neurosurgery JSC, Shashkin Clinic, Kazakh Society of Anesthesiologists and Resuscitators NGO, Nazarbayev University School of Medicine. The forum focuses on current issues and innovations in areas such as cardiology, critical care medicine, neurosurgery and neuromodulation. This is a unique opportunity to exchange experience and best practices among doctors, scientists, entrepreneurs and other medical industry specialists. In addition, the Forum provides a platform for the presentation of projects, products and researches, which can help promote them and attract investments. Participation in the 1st International Medical Forum “MedInnovations Forum” promises to be a rewarding and inspiring experience that can significantly enrich the professional development of participants and contribute to the development of the medical industry as a whole.
