SYNERGY OF INNOVATION AND SAFETY: START OF THE KIOSH 2024 AND ASTANABUILD 2024 EXHIBITIONS IN ASTANA
TODAY, MAY 29, TWO INDUSTRY EXHIBITIONS AT ONCE - THE 12TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH EXHIBITION - KIOSH 2024 AND THE 24TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL BUILDING AND INTERIOR EXHIBITION - ASTANABUILD 2024 BEGAN THEIR WORK AT THE EXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTER IN ASTANA.
Opening exhibitions of related industries on one platform allows them to act as a single professional platform for demonstrating innovation and maintaining safety in both construction and industry. The joint holding of KIOSH 2024 and AstanaBuild 2024 creates a powerful synergistic effect that promotes innovation, improves working conditions and promotes sustainable development. This not only strengthens the position of participants in the market, but also makes a significant contribution to economic development and improving the quality of life in general.
Taking into account the flood situation in some regions of Kazakhstan, the organizers decided to abandon the usual ceremony, including cutting the ribbon, which symbolizes the opening of the exhibition. This step was taken as a sign of solidarity with the entire country.
Exhibitors at AstanaBuild 2024 were 94 companies from 9 countries: Belarus, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine. 47% of the stands were organized by Kazakhstani companies, which included both domestic manufacturers and distributors. The interest in the Kazakhstani market is evidenced by the impressive composition of international participants; 53% of the total number of exhibitors in 2024 are international companies. The dynamic development of the construction industry in Kazakhstan is also evidenced by the number of debuting companies, which make up 44% of the total participants. Qorgau, Belintegra, Bwt Barrier Rus, Selena Ca, Comfort Engineering NT, Letina, Sonex, Aluminstroy Kazakhstan, Blagovest, Meesenburg Kazakhstan, Solargyi 18, Tas Kilem, Yumags will present their unique products and advanced solutions in the field of construction for the first time. Manufacturers of construction and finishing materials from regions of the Russian Federation will present collective stands, and manufacturers from China will take part in the joint exposition.
Visitors had the opportunity get acquainted with innovative products and services that have been developed to improve the efficiency and quality of construction projects, the most advanced technologies, the latest materials and solutions, as well as the latest trends in the field of construction, interiors and design were presented at the exhibition.
Experts from domestic and global manufacturing companies will share their successful cases with the audience and discuss prospects for the development of construction and interior design over the course of three days as part of the business program events. Today there was a Round table: Prospects for automated verification of projects developed using information modeling technology (BIM) from Gosexpertiza RSE. Next will be a discussion of Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Construction and Architecture JSC. The seminars of YouTool, Meesenburg Kazakhstan, Professional TANU Association aroused great interest among visitors.
An equally lively atmosphere reigned all day at the stands of the KIOSH 2024 exhibition, which included more than 75 companies from Belgium, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition featured new products in the field of Occupational Safety and Health, including textiles, personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment for industrial high rise works, health and safety products, fire safety products, medical examination systems, training companies and much more. The popularization of ensuring healthy and safe working conditions is evidenced by the significant increase in debutants; 48 companies took part in the KIOSH 2024 exhibition for the first time.
This year, the organizers prepared an open demonstration area, where a number of master classes on working at height, as well as a demonstration of new lines of equipment and personal protective equipment from Energocontract and Global Safety were held throughout the day.
In the seminar area, experts from Inter Knowledge Solutions Institute, HORIZON INC, Safe Driving Association, Nurikon Professional Training Center, Pozharnaya Bezopasnost 2.0 LLC carried out a number of practical and training seminars for industry professionals.
Another innovation this year was the launch of the ITECA.EVENTS mobile application, the main task of which is to create ideal business communications between visitors and participants with the ability to schedule meetings and collect leads. Tomorrow, May 30, the Occupational Safety and Health Conference - KIOSH 2024 will begin its work. Events and sessions will be divided by day according to topics: the program on May 30 will be devoted to occupational safety issues, and on May 31 experts will discuss industrial safety issues.
