OVER 300 FOOD MARKET SUPPLIERS FROM 30 COUNTRIES AT THE MAIN FOOD EXHIBITION OF THE YEAR
THE 26TH CENTRAL ASIAN INTERNATIONAL FOOD INDUSTRY EXHIBITION - FOODEXPO QAZAQSTAN 2024 WILL BE HELD IN THREE PAVILIONS OF THE ATAKENT KCBC FROM NOVEMBER 13 TO 15.
FoodExpo Qazaqstan is a key event in the food industry of Kazakhstan, bringing together leading manufacturers, suppliers and industry experts. In 2024, over 300 suppliers/manufacturers from 30 countries will be exhibitors, offering food products and beverages, equipment and technologies, ingredients and spices, as well as packaging and labels.
The exhibition will be held against the backdrop of significant growth in the food industry in Kazakhstan. In 2024, this industry continues to demonstrate sustainable development, which is due to both internal reforms and access to international markets. Kazakhstan is actively introducing innovative technologies and attracting investment in food production, which helps improve the quality and competitiveness of local goods. Over the past 10 years, food production in the Republic of Kazakhstan has increased 3 times. According to the results of 2023, the industry showed an increase of 1.5% (comparable prices) in monetary terms compared to the previous year, it amounted to 3,125.2 billion KZT.
In January 2024, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan approved the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of the Food and Processing Industry. Within its framework, existing processing plants will be modernized and new ones will be created, taking into account the potential for import substitution and export orientation of the Republic, the specialization of regions, the availability of raw material base and logistics.

The traditional FoodForum Qazaqstan 2024 will be held as part of the exhibition, where the main topic of discussion will be “Stable growth and effective strategies in the production and sale of food and beverages”. Visitors will also be able to participate in master classes and practical sessions on current topics, such as entering shelves of retail, marketplace trends and branding.
Particular attention will be paid to the Plenary Session with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and industry associations. The discussion will focus on the promotion of the Made in Kazakhstan brand and the entry of domestic products into international markets, which is especially important in the context of global competition. There will also be an annual professional tasting competition “Best Product of FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2024” with the presentation of the exhibition’s quality mark.
As part of the exhibition, there will be a retail center specially organized for direct negotiations between retail chains and distributors. This space will become a key platform for establishing business contacts, discussing cooperation terms and concluding profitable contracts. Thanks to the retail center, exhibition participants will be able to effectively interact, which will contribute to the development of partnership relations and expansion of business opportunities.
The FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2024 exhibition promises to be a significant event not only for the food industry of Kazakhstan, but also for the entire Central Asian region.
