KITF TRAVEL FORUM 2025: TOPICS AND ISSUES THAT ARE AT THE CENTER OF ATTENTION OF THE INDUSTRY.
FROM APRIL 23 TO 25, 2025, ALMATY WILL HOST ONE OF THE KEY EVENTS IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY OF ALL OF CENTRAL ASIA – THE 23RD KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND TRAVEL EXHIBITION – KITF 2025.
This year’s venue will feature the most intense business program, which will provide the professional community with the opportunity to discuss key industry trends, innovative solutions and development strategies. The central point for the business part of the exhibition will be TREND ZONE: BEYOND TRAVEL, where strategic sessions, panel discussions and specialized workshops will be held.
The first day of the business program, April 23, will focus on global changes in the industry, business adaptation to them, new technologies and key trends in tourism development.
The business program will open with a strategic plenary session “Tourism as a driver of economic growth in Asia: strategies for the future” with the participation of tourism ministers of Central and East Asia, where the prospects for sustainable growth of the industry, cross-border routes, infrastructure development and digital initiatives will be discussed. Particular attention will be paid to the Year of China tourism in Kazakhstan and its impact on bilateral cooperation.
Thematic panel discussions include the session “Next-gen travel: strategies and transformation of the industry”, dedicated to the impact of digitalization and new consumption models on the tourism market.
The session “New routes: Asian boom, combi-tours, digital visas and paperless borders” will present the prospects for the development of destinations, the introduction of innovative identification systems and the simplification of visa procedures.
Aviation sector issues will be covered during the discussion “Aviation 2025+: new routes, competition in the sky and the race for passengers”; leading airlines and aviation regulators will discuss key trends in the development of air transportation in the region.
Modern technologies and a personalized approach to customer service will be discussed in the session “Hyperpersonalization and technologies: from big data, AI to predictive tourism”, where specialists of Booking, Airbnb, Google Travel and technology startups will present the best practices of using data and artificial intelligence in the industry.
The first day’s program will conclude with a panel discussion “AMBASSADOR TRAVEL: How bloggers are becoming key players in the industry”, where leading travel influencers and airline marketers will discuss strategic partnerships with content makers and the impact of digital content on the development of tourism destinations.
The second day of the business program, April 24, will focus on expertise, discussion and analysis of working strategies and implementation of advanced technologies in business processes. The program will begin with a master class “How to sell at a high price: premium tourism and unique experiences”, in which luxury tourism experts will share strategies for creating high-class travel and working with the premium segment.
This will be followed by the session “How to sell experiences: a new generation of travelers”, covering trends in experiential tourism, NFT tourism and author’s travel products.
Innovative solutions will be presented at the workshop “AI and chatbots for the tourism business: automate and earn”, where technical experts will talk about the implementation of AI and the automation of customer requests.
Networking will take on a new format as part of the “Coffee rave” - an interactive event with musical accompaniment, creating a relaxed atmosphere for business communication.
During the “Real time content analysis” Roast, leading marketers and producers will analyze successful and ineffective travel cases, offering the audience effective solutions.
The final chord will be the strategic discussion “What to do tomorrow? Anti-crisis and viral strategies for growth”, where leading experts will present market development forecasts and recommendations for adapting businesses to changing conditions.
The exhibition and its business platform - KITF Travel Forum will become a powerful impetus for further growth of the industry, contributing to the strengthening of international cooperation and promotion of new tourism destinations.
