Modern technologies significantly save time and optimize work processes. One of the key functions of the application is badge scanning, which allows you to quickly collect contact information of visitors, instantly add notes to them and export all the information to Excel with one click. Previously, companies had to manually transfer contacts, which took a significant amount of time. Now this process is automated, which reduces the risk of data loss and increases work efficiency. One of the exhibition participants shared a case when all his notes were lost due to the loss of a notebook. Using ITECA.EVENTS allows you to avoid such situations due to reliable storage of information.
The application also offers a tool for synchronous teamwork. Representatives of one company can process contacts together: one employee scans badges at the stand, and another in the office immediately sends commercial offers. In addition, companies can upload information about their products and services to the application, which automatically becomes available in a special section. If a visitor is interested in a certain product, he can instantly contact a company representative.
The functionality of ITECA.EVENTS significantly expands the possibilities of participants. The application allows finding the necessary specialists in advance, scheduling meetings, sending personalized requests and leaving comments. Moreover, even if the participant was unable to come to the exhibition, he can interact with exhibitors online. All information about the event, including an interactive exhibition plan, program and list of participants, is available in one place, which makes the planning process convenient and effective.
In practice, the application has already proven its effectiveness. One case showed how a participant, knowing only the surname of a company representative, was able to quickly find the right person using the search in ITECA.EVENTS, identify the stand and plot a route to it. This demonstrates how convenient and well-thought-out the application’s tools are.
Today, participation in the exhibition is no longer limited to three days of the event. The application is launched several months before its start and continues to function for another month after its completion, providing at least six months for active interaction with customers and partners. The active growth of the application usage is shown by the statistics by years. ITECA.EVENTS has been operating since the autumn exhibition season of 2023 and the number of registered participants this year was 8,221 companies, while for the whole of 2024 this figure increased to 22,520 companies. Using the application in 2023, 1,470 meetings were scheduled, and in 2024 already 5,250. The growth of this figure is 257.1%.
The use of badge scanners has also increased significantly, so in 2023 the total number of scans at the Mining and Metals Central Asia exhibition was 4,877, and already in 2024 this figure was 6,694.
During the exhibition, the use of the application is especially active; during Astana Mining & Metallurgy in 2024, the number of search queries in the application exceeded 10,500 queries. Similar figures are also seen on other Iteca projects.
