KIHE 2025: THE MAIN PLATFORM FOR INNOVATION IN HEALTHCARE IN KAZAKHSTAN CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY, OPENING UP NEW HORIZONS FOR MEDICINE AND PHARMACEUTICALS IN THE REGION
WE INVITE THE ENTIRE MEDICAL COMMUNITY TO TAKE PART IN THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION - KIHE 2025, WHICH WILL BE HELD FROM MAY 21 TO 23, 2025 ON THE TERRITORY OF THE ATAKENT KAZAKHSTAN CENTER FOR BUSINESS COOPERATION.
For three decades, KIHE has been a unique major industry event demonstrating achievements in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, annually bringing together doctors of various specialties, pharmacists, representatives of government and business from different countries. The relevance of the annual successful holding of the exhibition is explained by the development of the healthcare industry in Kazakhstan, demonstrating positive dynamics. According to the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2.6 trillion KZT were allocated for healthcare in 2024. The allocation of significant funds for healthcare indicates a high priority for the government, emphasizing the desire to access high-quality services and modern equipment. The Government Resolution also adopted the Concept for the Development of Healthcare Infrastructure for 2024 – 2030, which will have a positive impact on the quality of medical services provided, as well as attracting investment in the healthcare system.
The anniversary KIHE 2025 exhibition impresses with its scale, both in terms of the number of exhibitors and country representation, and the content part of the business program. The KIHE 2025 exhibition will present a wide range of products: from the latest medical, laboratory, diagnostic and rehabilitation equipment to modern preparations, consumables, medical products, surgical instruments and medical services. The exposition will be held in three pavilions at once - 9, 10 and 11, which will provide specialists with a unique opportunity to study advanced technologies and innovative solutions from around the world at one platform in Kazakhstan.
At the moment, the list of participants of the exhibition includes more than 350 companies from Belarus, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. Every day the list of participants is replenished with both regular participants and debutants of the exhibition, who present their products at the exposition for the first time. This year we were joined by Anturics, Bm Bomaq Pharmatechnik, Diers International from Germany, Lm Medical Division Cis, Oscar Boscarol Srl, Padana Cleanroom from Italy, Osnovaniye KB, Sistemy Podderzhaniya Sterilnosti, Pharmstandard-Medtekhnika from Russia, Kleen-Pak Products Pte from Singapore, Betatech Medikal, Kalkan Med Medikal Tibbi Cihazlar Pazarlama Sanayi Ve Ticaret, Variteks Ortopedi Sanayi from Turkey, Globalmed from Uzbekistan, Anhui Sunshore Medical, Bio-Mapper, Chenye Medical from China and domestic companies – Asfarma-Kaz, Deltalab, Inbody.
Manufacturers and distributors from Germany, China and Uzbekistan will be part of the National Stands of their countries, and a number of regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus will present collective stands, including: collective stands of «Russian Export Center», «Moscow Export Center», Ryazan Region, as well as a collective stand of the Belarusian companies - «Belpharmprom».
Over the course of three days, a rich business program will be organized to exchange experiences and discuss current industry issues. Truly unique content will include forums, conferences, round tables and training seminars. On May 21, the first exhibition day, the International Kazakhstan MedInvest Forum, the Plenary Session «Health Capital of Kazakhstan: Investments, Partnerships, Innovations», Panel Discussions «Health Infrastructure: Partnerships and Solutions», «Development of Medical Tourism: Horizons of Central Asia» will be held.
In the second hall, a Conference organized by Kazakh Society of Anesthesiologists and Resuscitators, as well as a Panel Discussion from Medstandard, will be held in parallel.
On May 22, the second day of the exhibition, the attention of the audience will be drawn to the Strategic Session «Tariff Policy of the Compulsory Medical Insurance System», during which experts will discuss current issues of forming tariffs for medical services, mechanisms for financing medical organizations. The content of the second day will also include the Conference of Heads of Healthcare Organizations and the Panel Session «Insurance: Risks and Synergy of Systems». A unique opportunity to discuss the future of domestic pharmaceuticals will be provided to the audience of the Conference «State and Prospects for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Kazakhstan», which will be held in the second seminar hall.
The program also includes business meetings, negotiations and the signing of memorandums.
The organized buyers’ program of 2025 is worth mentioning separately. Delegations of buyers and medical specialists from the regions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan consisting of more than one hundred industry specialists, as well as a delegation of chief physicians of Almaty and other cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan are expected among the guests of the exhibition. Participants of the buyers’ program will have the opportunity to carry out targeted negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, medicines and innovative technologies. This will strengthen business ties, discuss prospects for the introduction of new medical solutions into practice and establish long-term cooperation between key players in the healthcare market.
Traditionally, during KIHE 2025, the First Medical Channel 1MEDTV.KZ will host live Expert Talks broadcasts. Leading representatives of the medical community of Kazakhstan, as well as government and business representatives, are invited as experts.
In parallel with the KIHE 2025 exhibition, the 2nd Kazakhstan International Equipment, Raw Materials and Technologies for the Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition - PharmaTech Kazakhstan 2025 will be held for the first time in Almaty, which will create a unique synergy between the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Participants will be able not only to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of pharmaceutical production, but also to establish partnership relations, discuss the prospects for localizing the production of medicines and introducing new technologies in the pharmaceutical sector.
Thanks to its unique content and high level of organization, the exhibition makes a significant contribution to the development of domestic healthcare, promoting the introduction of the latest technologies, the exchange of experience and the strengthening of business ties between industry professionals.
KIHE is rightfully considered the main event in the medical sphere of Kazakhstan, where new opportunities for innovation, improvement of the healthcare system and enhancement of the quality of medical services are created.
