PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2025: NEW PROFESSIONAL PLATFORM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMICAL AND POLYMER INDUSTRIES
FROM NOVEMBER 12 TO 14, 2025, THE KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PLASTICS AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY – PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN WILL BE HELD FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE ON THE TERRITORY OF ATAKENT EXHIBITION COMPLEX (ALMATY).
The large-scale industry event will bring together leading manufacturers, suppliers and consumers of plastics, rubbers, polymers and chemical products. The exhibition will be presented by the following sections:
- Equipment and technologies for the production of plastics, rubbers and polymers;
- Equipment for processing, recycling and disposal;
- Raw materials, polymeric materials and additives;
- Products made of plastics, rubbers and polymeric materials
- Technologies, raw materials and equipment for the chemical industry.
Plastex Qazaqstan 2025 is intended to become a key professional site promoting the development of the plastics and chemical industry in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries. The development of the plastics and chemical industries in Kazakhstan is not only a reflection of global trends, but also a strategic step towards increasing the country’s industrial independence. Statistics for 2024 demonstrate stable growth in key segments of the chemical industry and active investments.
According to the Bureau of National Statistics, in 2024, Kazakhstan’s manufacturing industry showed growth of 4.8% compared to the previous year. In particular, the production of chemical products increased by 9.5%. As of February 1, 2024, there were 1,086 enterprises engaged in the production of chemical products in the country, which is 11% more than in the same period in 2023.
This confirms the high potential of the sector and makes participation in Plastex Qazaqstan especially significant: it is here that companies can take leading positions in the emerging market, establish new production chains, strengthen export potential and contribute to the sustainable industrial development of Kazakhstan. Participation in the exhibition has already been confirmed by companies from Iran and China.
According to Market Research Future, the global plastics market is also showing steady growth and is projected to reach over 750 billion US dollars by 2030, highlighting the strategic importance of developing this area for Kazakhstan as well.
According to the Kazakhstan Union of Chemical Industry, the chemical industry of the republic shows confident growth rates: since 2020, the volume of output products has increased by more than 30%. In the context of the course towards industrialization and import substitution, innovative solutions in the field of plastics processing, sustainable polymeric materials and “green” chemistry are becoming especially relevant.
