FROM MAY 28 TO 30, 2025, THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION AND INTERIOR EXHIBITION – ASTANABUILD 2025 – TOOK PLACE AT THE EXPO EXHIBITION CENTER.
99 companies from 9 countries — Kazakhstan, Germany, Spain, Italy, China, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and South Korea — took part in the 25th Anniversary edition of AstanaBuild. Companies from Russia and China presented their solutions in joint pavilions. Exhibitors showcased a wide range of new products: building materials and equipment, finishing materials, interior solutions, and window and profile technologies.
Foreign companies made up 60% of all exhibitors in 2025, underscoring the growing significance and attractiveness of the exhibition as a platform for business promotion, knowledge exchange, and the establishment of new partnerships. For the first time, a collective pavilion of manufacturers from Germany was presented, where visitors could explore innovative finishing and paint materials, ventilation systems, and components for furniture production.
Over three days, the exhibitions (held in parallel with KIOSH and InterFood Astana) welcomed 4,562 unique professionals. The exhibitions received numerous positive reviews from both participants and visitors, who noted the high quality of organization, diversity of exhibitors, and the ease of communication. Tatiana Stognieva, Public Relations Specialist at ArtMonolitProject, shared her impression:“I really enjoyed the exhibition — I visited many booths and made a lot of useful connections. Company representatives were open and eager to talk about their products. Overall, I gained a lot of valuable information today. This platform definitely helps the development of the industry. We work in industrial design, and the knowledge acquired here will greatly facilitate our future work — especially when adapting projects to specific production needs and in equipment selection.”
Exhibitors highlighted the exhibition as a platform for establishing mutually beneficial partnerships, reaffirming the relevance and competitiveness of the presented solutions in the current market environment. Roman Akhmetzyanov, Head of Sales Department at Silikat LLP, noted:
“Thanks to this exhibition, we found partners not only in Astana but also across other regions of Kazakhstan. We've met many people with whom we’ve now been working for over 10 years. The exhibition truly offers great opportunities to attract new investments in various business areas, particularly in construction.”
In addition to the exhibition, a rich business program was organized for both participants and visitors. On the first day, May 28, the session of the Gosexpertiza RSE took place, titled "Digital Platforms in Construction", which brought together leading experts in digital technologies, BIM modeling, and state expertise. Among the speakers were representatives of GosGradKadastr RSE , Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC, and KazNIISA JSC. The session featured key digital solutions and projects aimed at increasing transparency, efficiency, and manageability of construction processes. A session by the Kazakhstan Association of Developers also took place, focused on legislative changes in 2025. The central event of the meeting was the speech by Bakhytzhan Muratovich Zhunisbekov, Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Utilities under the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his report, he highlighted key changes being implemented within the new Construction Code project. Zhunisbekov emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue between the government and business during industry reform and expressed readiness for further engagement with the professional community.
On May 29, the Association of Architects and Designers TANU held a series of seminars and workshops. The program focused on experience exchange: participants learned how to build a career in design, develop a personal brand, gain international media exposure, use digital technologies, and communicate with influencers. On May 30, the business program concluded with a workshop by Natalya Elistratova titled “What and how to calculate in construction to grow net profit”, including a detailed breakdown of a real-life business case.
AstanaBuild became a hub for interaction between participants from Kazakhstan and abroad, providing valuable opportunities to exchange experience, find new partners, and learn about the latest industry trends — all in one place.
