GROWTH OF NUMBER OF VISITORS ON THE FIRST DAY OF KAZBUILD 2019 CONFIRMS THE GROWTH OF BUILDING INDUSTRY IN KAZAKHSTAN
Today, September 04th, 2019, Almaty saw the opening of two most significant international exhibitions in Central Asia: the 26th Kazakhstan International Building&Interiors Exhibition KazBuild 2019 and the 12th Kazakhstan International Exhibition for Heating, Water supply, Sanitary, Air-conditioning, Ventilation Equipment Aquatherm Almaty 2019.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Claudia Schmidt - Deputy Consul General of Germany in Almaty, Mr. Sri Balakrishnan - Second Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Kazakhstan, Mikhail Tkachenko - Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in Kazakhstan, Aidar Tatygulov - President of the KazGor Design Academy, Talgat Yergaliyev - Chairman of the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan, Maral Tompiyev - President of the Association of the Industry of Building Materials of Kazakhstan, as well as the leadership of the organizers of the exhibition.

Talgat Yergaliyev, the Chairman of the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan, briefly told in his welcome speech about the construction industry in the Republic, - "Annually, over 1 trln. 200 bln.tenge is being contributed to this sector. In 2018, 12.5 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the Republic of Kazakhstan; 13 million square meters of housing is planned to be commissioned in 2019. There is a trend, and there is growth, there is a demand for materials and new technologies. It is essential that alternative technologies in the field of heat supply, power generation, and other new technologies are presented at the exhibition so that builders can take advantage of these innovations." |

This year, 272 companies from 22 world countries take part in KazBuild 2019, 80% of them are foreign exhibitors. National expositions are represented by Germany, Poland, Turkey (for the first time) and India. Three hundred twenty-five brands occupy the area of 5 800 sq.meters at the KazBuild platform. The exhibition is represented by participants such as WKB Systems, Koster, Kemma, Kerama Marazzi, Beryoza ceramic, Aurubis, Novatec, Gerard, Вершина, Siona, Cosmick, Barlinek, Bosch, Masa, Alcotek, Gentas, Fenedo, Simargl, Mirt, Fores, Viko, Equipceramic and others.

The showpiece of the exhibition is the partnership with one of the largest DIY-retailers in the world - Leroy Merlin company. The company presents a booth at the show and holds individual negotiations on cooperation with Kazakhstani manufacturers to support domestic manufacturers and dealers.
Today, Leroy Merlin has already held a seminar on How to become a Leroy Merlin's supplier.
Tomorrow, on September 5th, there will be a Forum of suppliers of construction materials and services with the participation of Talgat Yergaliyev, chairman of the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan.
The Union pays special attention to this event since it is at the KazBuild exhibition where they will announce the opening of the Almaty Branch of the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan and hold the election of the Branch Director.
At the end of the third day of the exhibition, the results of the Perspective Design competition of young designers and architects will be summed up. There are 27 participants already in the competition. A competent jury will determine the winners in 6 nominations in different areas of design. Winners will be able to implement their projects, as well as receive prizes from partners.

On September 12-2019, 2019, on the same platform, Almaty city will host the 12th International Exhibition for Domestic and Industrial Equipment for Heating, Water Supply, Sanitary, Air-Conditioning and Ventilation Equipment Aquatherm Almaty 2019.
The exhibitions will work till September 06th, 18:00.
The organizers of the event are Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition company and its international partner ITE Group PLC (Great Britain). These events are annually supported by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of RK and Akimat of Almaty city.
