Production and distribution of food and beverages in new realities at FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2020

A bright professional event for manufacturers and distributors of food and beverages - the 23rd Central Asian International Food Industry Exhibition - FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2020 - will be held on November, 4-6th, 2020, at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty.

In the fall of 2020, once again, FoodExpo will become the main B2B platform for the food industry in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, which will demonstrate the distribution of forces in the industry in accordance with the new realities. The exhibition will be filled with discussions of the expert community, world innovations in equipment, ingredients, technological initiatives to optimize the food production processes, as well as industry-specific study of diversified scenarios for the food industry development in the Central Asian region.wf

Over the 23 years of its existence, the exhibition has evolved from a platform for direct industry interaction into a benchmark in the food market for domestic and foreign producers, has become a starting point for many of today's leaders of the industry in Kazakhstan, and moreover, FoodExpo Qazaqstan has secured the status of a platform for interregional cooperation.
Annually, more than 10 national expositions, organized with the support of sectoral ministries and departments of the CIS and non-CIS countries participate in the exhibition to develop trade and economic relations between the countries.

This year, national stands of manufacturers are presented by such countries as Afghanistan, South Korea, Germany, the USA, Russia and others. Today, more than 15 regional export centers of the Russian Federation form collective expositions to establish business contacts between Russian enterprises and the business community of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

A single FoodExpo Qazaqstan expo-brand will be a complex of specialized industry expositions in the following areas:

Among the exhibitors, FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2020 expects more than 450 companies, to date, companies from Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, India, Iran, Italy, China, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Russia, Slovenia the USA, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Sri Lanka have already confirmed their participation.

Participants present their products in all segments of the food industry: from production lines and equipment, including processing, roasting, drying, cold storage, packaging, etc., equipment and products for the restaurant and hotel business, to a wide range of finished products and drinks - confectionery, dairy and meat products, snacks and groceries, tea and coffee, as well as additives and spices. 

In 2019, the exhibition expanded its boundaries and spread over 10,000 square meters, bringing together more than 450 participating companies and 5,445 unique professional visitors from 41 countries on one site, thus FoodExpo Qazaqstan has become the largest industry platform for direct interaction of businesses from 41 countries of the world.

FoodExpo Qazaqstan is annually supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Almaty City Administration, industry unions and associations.

The organizer of the event is Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company.

The exhibition organizers are guided by the recommendations of local executive bodies, WHO and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and guarantees that during the exhibition they will provide all sanitary and hygienic measures, sanitization and disinfection to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
