KIOSH 2025: THE FUTURE OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH – NEW CHALLENGES, SOLUTIONS AND TECHNOLOGIES
FROM 28 TO 30 MAY 2025, EXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTRE WILL HOST THE 13TH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - KIOSH 2025.
This significant industry event will once again bring together leading experts, representatives of government agencies, businesses and international organizations to discuss current challenges and find solutions in the field of ensuring safe working conditions.
Exposition 2025
The exhibition part of the event will present a wide range of thematic sections, which will be presented by more than 30 companies from Kazakhstan, Germany, the USA, Russia and China. Among the sections are innovative solutions in the field of occupational safety and health, advanced technologies in the textile industry and production of special footwear, modern personal protective equipment, health and occupational hygiene, fire safety and emergency response. Special attention will be paid to training and science, environmental safety, medical examination systems, fleet management, as well as software and IT security.
For the first time, the following companies will take part in KIOSH 2025: Treagra Safety, TSN group, HAIX, TST GROUP KZ, Zavod O2, NEWTECH SYSTEMS GROUP, EYEVEX SAFETY and Liniya odezhdy. Their presence at the exhibition will be an important event demonstrating the growing interest in Occupational Safety and Health issues on the part of new market players.
KIOSH 2025 Conference
Over the course of three days, the KIOSH conference will become a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between experts. Within the framework of KIOSH 2025, a number of strategic and panel sessions, dedicated to the implementation of new standards and best practices in the field of occupational safety, advanced training of specialists, digitalization of production processes, industrial medicine and automation of safety, will be held.
Among the confirmed speakers of the conference are the Head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the International Network of Safety & Health Professional Organizations (INSPHO); the managerial personnel of IOSH and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA); Vice President for Ecology and Industrial Safety of Norilsk Nickel; Head of Eni in Kazakhstan. The speakers’ presentations will be key points of the business program, allowing participants to gain valuable knowledge and best global practices in the field of Occupational Safety and Health.
The conference business program will cover a wide range of topical issues. Leading experts will discuss global challenges and solutions on the path to decent work in Kazakhstan and the world. The program will present the implementation of the Safe Work Concept and the Concept for the Formation of a Culture of Safety in Society, as well as the National Occupational Safety Review and the Possibilities of a Labor Risk Map.
The conference will include a congress of Ministers for Occupational Safety from Central Asian countries, where international initiatives and strategies for ensuring safety in the workplace will be considered. One of the key events will be an expert session in partnership with IOSH. And in order to increase interactivity and involvement of participants, the program includes Safety Games – business games that simulate real situations in the field of occupational safety.
Additionally, in partnership with Atameken NCE of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Council for the formation of the national market of professional services in the field of technogenic safety, a special session will be held dedicated to current issues of regulation and development of the industry. An important part of the conference will be the launch of a workshop section in partnership with the largest industrial enterprises, where specialists will have the opportunity to study practical cases and exchange best practices.
KIOSH emphasizes that Occupational Safety and Health are not just mandatory elements of corporate culture, but also key factors in the sustainable development of business and the state. An important confirmation of this is the continued support of the event by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Republican Research Institute for Occupational Safety, which demonstrates the country’s commitment to safe working conditions. Every year, key companies from the mining and metallurgy and oil and gas sectors also provide assistance to KIOSH, which is an important indicator that Occupational Safety and Health are perceived as integral elements of sustainable development for both business and the state.
